FAQs
Q: How can these homes be financed?
A: Any mortgage company, savings & loan, homestead association or bank which has a mortgage loan department will finance our homes. Because our homes are "stick built" they qualify for conventional financing at the best rates for repayment periods of up to thirty (30) years.
Q: What about sales tax?
A: Because the house is considered real estate once it is on your property there is no sales tax on our homes.
Q: What other expense besides the sale price will I incur?
A: The only other expense you will have is for the on site plumbing to connect the house to water and sewer and the building permit from your city or parish government.
Q: Do you have to own the land on which the house will be built
or delivered?
A: Yes. The mortgage will be on the land and the house is considered an improvement to the property.
Q: Will the house depreciate in value as a manufactured
home does?
A: No. Traditionally our homes have appreciated in value as real estate values increase.
Q: How will the vinyl siding on these homes hold up in high winds?
A: The vinyl siding we use on our homes has a wind resistance of one hundred seventy eight (178) miles per hour. This rating is claimed by the Vinyl Siding Institute, an independent research firm not connected with any siding maufacturer.
